| The 19th Ala continues to put its money where its mouth is when it comes to historic preservation! In 1995, our company directly gave $1100.00 to preservation including $100 to renew our corporate membership in the Assoc. for the Preservation of Civil War Sites(APCWS) and $1000 to the Burritt Museum in Huntsville toward the preservation of the Confederate battle flag in their possession. The donation to the Burritt represents about 1/3 of the total amount needed to do the job. In addition to these direct contributions, all who attended the 1864 Tennessee Campaign, Selma, and several other events this year helped preservation causes throughout this region. Hats off to all of you for your support of preservation initiatives. Let�s face it, as screwed up as our government is, we�ll have to do this job ourselves!! |
