"'Life
at Home and in the Army"'
A conference of interest to reenactors, both military and civilian, living historians, educators, students, curators of historic sites, and researchers of the culture of the 1860s. To be held July-August, 2002 at Athens State University, Athens AL. Sponsored by Athens State University and the 19th Alabama Infantry Regiment, Co. I. By any measure, the Conference held July 21-23, 2000 was an outstanding success. The 19th Alabama and Athens State University want to thank our speakers for doing such a terrific job, and our participants for being such good guests. Thanks, too, for your feedback which will help the next conference be even better. We have opened a new section of our web site which contains Post-Conference information included photos, feedback results, speakers contact list, and other requested information. A committee has been formed to start planning for the next Conference in 2003. Send email to [email protected] .
